A revised checklist of the Palaearctic Procridinae is given. The order of tribes, genera and species differs from that published in the previous checklists (Efetov & Tarmann, 1995; 1999). Artonini are placed at the beginning as they are considered to represent a more ancient group than Procridini. In the present work we attempt to provide a complete overview of the contemporary knowledge on Chrysartona Swinhoe, 1892, summarizing already published and new information in one volume. This includes all known data on systematics, distribution and biology. All taxa are figured in colour. Photographs of the type specimens and their labels, and drawings of the genitalia of all known species are presented. A key to the subgenera and species is provided.
