International Perfume Museum: Looking at the Collections

Perfume, by turns a messenger of the gods, an age-old remedy, and an accessory of seduction. The International Perfume Museum, located in Grasse, France, the cradle of perfumery savoir-faire, is dedicated to the conservation and promotion of this patrimony - from plant to perfume. A collection of marvellous objects from five continents, dating from antiquity to the present day, illustrates the history of perfume from the vantage points of customs, raw materials, techniques, and artistic expression.
